Hi I just bought an S220 (with built in solar panel), so when I set the power source in the apps, should it be battery or solar?

Hi, It should be kept on battery. The other option “solar” is for an add-on external solar panel.
It is confusing they should explain it better or not even give you the option until you hook up an external solar panel.
