Home Assistant Integration - Apis

Hey folks,
I bought quite a few devices string lights, permanent lights, doorbell, flood lights, out door cameras and indoor cameras but sadly these don’t integrate to Home Assistant.

I would love to create automations with these devices.

@Eufy any idea if this is coming or if I can help in any way?

I’ve been asking them for a while for an official integration. Much needed and their main competitor, reolink, has this already and is actually one of the best HA integrations out there for cameras.
There’s an unofficial one, but a lot is missing from it.

Yeah, I’m in the same boat. I’ve got a few Eufy devices and really wish they worked with Home Assistant. Everything runs fine separately, but full automation would be a game changer. Hope Eufy adds integration or an open API soon!

Hello all,

I’m in the same boat. I currently have 2× S3 Pro cameras, a Doorbell C31, and a HomeBase S380, and I was looking to add another camera as an upgrade to my home security system.

However, the lack of official Home Assistant integration or a properly supported local API is becoming a major issue for me.

One of Eufy’s big selling points is local storage and keeping your data within your own home. But without an officially supported way to integrate the HomeBase S380 and connected devices with Home Assistant, that “local-first” proposition falls short for anyone building a genuinely local smart-home setup.

There are community integrations and workarounds, but for a security system I don’t want to rely on unofficial solutions that could stop working after an app, firmware, or API change.

At this point, instead of buying another Eufy camera, I’m seriously considering leaving the Eufy ecosystem and moving to a vendor that officially supports Home Assistant and local integration.

I’d much rather stay with Eufy—the hardware I already have does what I need—but official Home Assistant support, or at least a documented and supported local API for HomeBase S380, would make a significant difference to my decision to invest further in the ecosystem.

Hopefully Eufy will recognise that this is becoming an important requirement for customers who specifically chose Eufy because of its local-first approach.
