Homebase 3 pet recognition in darkness

Using Homebase 2, this device filters out pets who are passing by. This feature works very well today
At night this seems to be very difficult. Cats are sneaking around my house and this gives many false alerts.

Does somebody know if this feature works better with homebase 3?

Never upgraded before because the lack of homekit support, but I read Homebase 3 is compatible now.

Hi, the issue is with the image at night, it’s darker compared to daytime, which makes pet detection difficult. Maybe you need a eufyCam 3 Pro with MaxColorVision and enable the DayLike mode to give a day-like experience even at night.

This isn’t a good solution for me. In that case 4 camera’s needs to be replaced. If Homebase 3 is better with recognition in darkness, I can give it a try.
