How do I correct my S340 alarm being triggered by this van when the activity zone is only my sidewalk back from the public sidewalk halfway to my steps?

First night ever setting alarms and they went off all night keeping me exhausted… and I’m sure my neighbors lol.
Maybe the isS340 is a little to much if have to set the alarm on it and it goes off all night…
You might be better off with a used spot light cam that won’t hurt your pocket if someone steals it… I take it that’s what you had it set for… so nobody steals it…

Did you try lowering sensitivity already? If not I would give that a try.

I did lower it to 4.
I actually have it set to record b&e, thefts, vandalism, etc. It is really high so not very worried there. I set the alarm because of a male trespasser a few times in all hours of the night.

Did that make a difference? Is AI set for all other? When I have mine set up for all other it has a tendency to pick up more at night than it would during the day. Example fog flurries would set it off. Small insects flying by would set it off.
BTW… you could also simply set the alarm notification to homebase only and not to the actual camera. Then you can also do a custom automation if you have their sensors to trigger the camera alarm if a window/ door sensor is triggered. This is work around to not have the camera waking up neighbors during false triggers. If you have someone trespassing, please considered a wired camera that plays 24/7. Don’t take a chance with wifi.

I got a little E220 I just set up for 24/7 I got set up on the back yard setting just i side my wi dow…
. I got the sensitivity level turned all the way up, because there’s a fence back There and it don’t pick up anything unless there’s someone back there…
It probably wouldn’t work in an open area with a lot of pedestrian traffic though…
Also I have set for human only. No pets, vehicles or anything else…
Your only concern on the set for you young laddt should be human as well…

Them little E220 are only about 30 bucks on ebay… you can use some of them other little indoor cams that would work about the same…
Ps. The little o door c120, e220 mini 2k most of them little compact indoor cams all take Sim cards and run 24/7 that you can just stick outside your window…
