How do we feel about 2k vs 4k cameras?
Well obviously the 4K would be a much better picture quality… But I’ve been told / read that your eyes cannot perceive that much video information.
I have a 1080p camera and a 2K camera and I can see the difference, that the 2K displays a better quality picture.
4K may be slightly better, but you would need a phone with a large screen that can display 4K to take advantage of it.
Also the frames per second FPS is a factor when you pause video_ you see a blurry image_ FPS needs to be at least 30 to 60 to reduce motion blur.
4k allows you to zoom which allows you to monitor a larger area.
So far the same, not a big difference
When you zoom in, there is a big difference
Higher detail may be useful in critical situations where, for example, police need to decipher facial details on a partially masked offender. The higher the “k” the higher the literal bits of data so zooming provides better detail. BUT if the 4k results in much slower recording starts or dramatically reduced recording kenh4you may be trading one kind of detail for another possibly more important kind.
