How Exactly Do I Create A Schedule For S220?

Hi everyone. I am not really interested in what happens during the day on my S220 cameras. I only care about overnight.

I only want to record and get notifications from 5pm to 9am. I want to do this to conserve the battery.

I know there is a way to set a schedule but I cannot work out how. All the info I find on Google/Youtube is wrong. I have two S220’s and a Homebase 3.

Can anyone help?

Thanks.

You can set a schedule for when motion detection and recording are active, but the trick is that it’s done through Security Modes in the Eufy Security app. Here’s how to set it up:

  1. Open the Eufy Security app
  2. Go to Smart icon on the bottom row, then choose Modes and tap your Homebase 3 under Device Control
  3. Tap the gear icon :gear: in the top right to open Mode Settings
  4. Choose Schedule from the list of modes
  5. Now you can set time blocks for when you want to use different modes (like “Home,” “Away,” or a custom one)

What you’ll want to do is:

  • Create or customize a mode (e.g., “Night Mode”) that enables motion detection and recording
  • Set another mode (e.g., “Day Mode”) with all detection turned off
  • Then schedule “Night Mode” from 5:00 PM to 9:00 AM, and “Day Mode” for the rest

Make sure each S220 camera is assigned to the mode you’re adjusting.

Thank you very much for your detailed reply. I assume home mode means no notifications and away mode means there are notifications?

Thanks again

You can make Home mode send notifications if you want or not. Just edit the Home mode to customize it!

OK. I have it working. Thanks very much for your help! I would not have been able to do it without you.
