I bought 2 c22o cameras. Both have different version numbers and both say they are up to date, even tried updating and reset. Still say the same thing. The dates are 11 days apart. The older date version has more and better setup features. Any suggestions for fixing.
It could be that each camera has a different processor (chip) in it and therefore the firmware version numbers will be different.
Interesting though, I can’t see it having different settings and options for the cameras.
What settings are different between the two?
Also give it some time for the other camera, I have four identical cameras and they do take a while _ not sure why, maybe it’s first come first serve _ sometimes 2 weeks later they’re all at the same firmware update.
Contact Eufy, they’ll ask for serial numbers etc… After a couple days back and forth they’ll have the firmware sent to the device.
I have (2) E220 indoor pan and tilt cameras and one is probably 10 months newer than the other and it has different settings and the older one hasn’t gotten any updates so I think as JD said they probably have different chips in them.
I find my E220 indoor camera still updates every now and then - but Eufy aren’t going to push an update out until there’s a few extra features ready.
I find that unprofessional that identical cameras would have different settings/options. How could they market something like that??
Different firmware versions, yes.. I can understand that due to different processor chips that are identical in functioning design, but manufactured from a different supplier thus the different firmware version numbers. / You don’t want to send the wrong firmware version to the wrong device so it’s probably categorized by the devices serial number.
But still, not having the same performance / settings / options for the camera is unacceptable to the end user customer with two chips that are identical and manufactured from different vendors.
It’s probably just a matter of eufy sending out a firmware update to correct the differences.
