I have a Eufy H

I have a Eufy Homebase 3 which records locally to a harddrive. I do not have cloud storage. Hiw can I download my videos? The web app doesn’t have that option. The mobile app does, but it’s disabled. When I connect my homebase to my desktop usong a USB cable, nothing happens. Anyone else figured out how to do it?

Apple or Android? Android running on a Samsung S21 works fine for me downloading from a homebase 3 with a 500Gb hard drive and no cloud. Can you screenshot the disabled download button so we can try to help?

I’ve plugged a thumb drive into port 1 on back of home base 3 then go to home base in app then archive videos and then it will give you a calendar where you can pick. Month day and time frame ( unfortunately not specific events) then download to thumb drive. Then you can plug that into your computer to view and edit. But still strange you can’t download events from the app to your phone photos.

Thank you both. I have an Android and high speed internet with a really strong connection. I think I’ve figured it out and it’s bad news for me. Both of my cameras are far from the street where shootings and fights happen, and the motion sensors rarely go off. That is fine with me because I am doing 24/7 continuous recording and want to just download any section of video I find important. Unfortunately, it looks like Eufy will only let me download motion detection “events”, which show up as yellow on the timeline. So far I’ve been unable to download anything else. Attached is a screenshot of some of my good neighbors, who are not shooting or fighting with anyone, and the download button is disabled.

Actually, this might work. I do see an option to download a specific day by archiving. If I can reduce it to a timeframe within that day I can make it work. My thumbdrive is too small for an entire day. Thank you, didn’t know I could do this!

While watching the continuous video you can click on the record icon, then click it again to stop recording and it will save to your device. Not the most efficient way.

Another possible idea is via the Security Report if you have more than one camera involved?

Oh yeah I wasn’t able to get the record option on my 24/7 playback to save to my phone album either until I adjusted the recording settings for the camera from 4K down to 2K or 1080 I think my phone can’t handle 4K recordings its to old
