I’m having a hard time trying to get my camera to do automatic record
Set motion
My cameras record but it always seems to be at the wrong times.
Set motion zones
Check:
Motion Detection is enabled.
Recording is set to Record on Motion rather than notifications only.
Detection sensitivity isn’t set too low.
Storage isn’t full.
Camera battery isn’t critically low.
Activity zones aren’t excluding the area you’re testing.
The camera firmware is up to date.
A quick test is to walk directly in front of the camera and check whether it sends a motion notification. If it does but doesn’t record, the recording settings are usually the issue.
do you have video recording turned on?
tap on smart tab at bottom of Home Screen. Then tap on your home base or camera then you will get the “home” “away “ screen tap on gear icon then you will see the list of devices and make sure video recording is checked off. I will upload some pictures
if you use the home/away function do the same but under the away gear
