I’m real pleased with the range and picture quality of this solar camera, so much so that I just ordered a second one to go on the detached garage as well. This camera is looking up a drive and mounted on a 4’ fence, so I made a 15 degree wood wedge to sit behind the mounting plate (still leaving some slope for water to run off).
One area for improvement would be for the motion activated light to come on instantly just like dumb lights do. Beyond security, I also posted this so that visitors can see the fence as they drive in when it’s dark out (this time of year about 6:30pm). I find it comes on when I’m halfway past the light which undermines the safety purpose.
All-in-all, great product and I’m happy with the purchase. Now I’m considering replacing a hardwired Ring camera and a Ring doorbell to get the cameras together on a single app. Well done, eufy!
