I really like the in-house nature of the Eufy camera system. In addition to the outside cameras, I have a couple of older 2k pan and tilt cameras in the house. I’ve got to say that the AI for these is a bit flaky. I’ve lost count of the number of times the Kitchen Cam sends an alert to say someone is in the room, only to find it is a bottle or an unfolded tea towel on the table. I tell the camera that no, this isn’t a human and then it pings another alert for the same thing. Wash and repeat a dozen times until I get sick of it and turn off the notifications. Not really ideal.
It seems that the AI just does not learn.
Every time I remove an item that has triggered the AI, it seeks out something new to get wrong. Any chance the AI will ever improve, or is it just never going to work with older cameras?
