I think my son is turning off the homebase to sneak out

I think my 17-year-old son might be unplugging the homebase so he can sneak out at night (cleaver). Is there a way that I can either check the uptime on the base or get some sort of notification when that happens? I think it would be hilarious if the cameras would sound an alarm if the base were unplugged.

What would happen if he were to turn off the wifi router? Would the cameras still record?

I can’t help but think of how my parents in the 70s managed to wire the front and back doors so that if they were opened at night, it would turn on a lamp in my parents bedroom. The funny thing is I didn’t learn about it until a couple of years ago and my mother still made me promise not to tell my older brother.
