I’ve just bought Homebase 3 do I need to to purchase a hard drive or can i just use it t without a separate one?

A hard drive isn’t required, HomeBase3 comes with 16GB of built-in storage.

It’s Not essential to add a hard drive but I highly recommend you do as it will store many more days of clips. I found an old 500Mb SSD and used that

Well so far I’m really liking it! It’s made my doorbell functions so much better! D once I get my solo cam up and running I believe it’ll be even better with regards to facial recognition

Not necessary unless you want to keep more footage. H3 has 16g already

@loo565 I’ve got to say it’s definitely been worth it for me! It’s really helped my doorbell be more efficient/ facial recognition ect! You’ll have to let me know what you think when you get your one, but I don’t mind putting my name to recommending it!

essential no recommended yes. Really know how fast something fills up until it’s filled up and the last thing you wanna do is be at the situation where you need to start deleting footage. Just make sure everything that you get goes perfectly with the base.
