What a nightmare. But she loves you and she’s probably lonely. In the good ol’ days we could only answer calls at home, and when we were on the phone or it was off the hook, callers would get a busy signal. If mama heard the busy signal, she wouldn’t have to checking on you 
My mom used to call me and bug me all the time, and I’d never get anything done if I answered the phone all the time. Now I get nothing done, but I lost my mom over 20 years ago. I’d give anything to have her call me to bug me again.
I’m so sorry for your loss my mom is sincerely my best friend and I cherish every moment we have together but sometimes I just want a nap that lasts more than ten minutes just because I didn’t answer my phone which to some ppl would be a hint
