I’m glad a video doorbell was one of the first purchases on my new house. I woke up to a message from amazon saying that my overnight package was delayed in transit and that I could either cancel or return the shipment. I checked my doorbell cam just in case and there it was. Delivered at 5am!

I do have one but haven’t installed it as of yet. Any tips ?
If you have the E340 it can either be hard-wired or battery powered. If you have the ability I would recommend hardwiring it. My original tranformer went and for awhile I was running it on battery power. It became a hassle to check the battery level and charge it. I purchased and installed a new doorbell transformer from Amazon and it was a relatively easy job. If you don’t have the option of hard-wiring I’d recommend having a spare battery on hand(also available on amazon). If you are using a Eufy Homebase you can use that as a chime. If you don’t have a homebase and are still interest in a chime you can find it on Amazon under this description " eufy Security Video Doorbell Add-On Chime, Indoor Chime, Requires eufy Security Video Doorbell E340/C30/C31, No-Delay Ring, Adjustable Volume, 8 Fun Ringtones, only works with 2.4GHz Wi-Fi". The original Eufy Wifi chime is not compatible. Aelxa should work aswell. If installing it in a new location I would set it up in the app first and play around with the height before mounting.
