Is it possible to use the solar panel for the door bell?

No that is not possible. There is nu usb connetor you can reach when the accu is plugged in. So charging is not possible. I have bought a second accu to switch easy.

It seems you can hardwire it but a higher voltage is needed? Eufy blog says its possible but a 240v to DC 16-24v transformer is needed. I wonder why we could not just have used this terminals for solar input. Would make it so much easier.
Never seen a model where you can plug in a solar panel. Maybe if you remove it from the bracket you can see if it will accept the plug from the solar panel but you would have to modify the bracket to make the wire permanent and I don’t think it’s worth it. Does your model have a removable battery where you can get a second battery? Or hardwire it if you have existing house door bell wires?
