Is there a battery back up for home base 3

There is no backup battery for Homebase 3 now.
Any UPS can work with it, you would just plug the power adapter into it.
What’s an ups? Sorry I’m not verry technical with it all but I’m learning…
I want to make sure that the cameras are still rolling if there’s a power outage, isn’t that what it’s for?

UPS = Uninterrupted Power Supply. It is in essence a battery that stays charged when plugged in and getting power. The device plugged into it continued to run on A/C power fed through the UPS. However, if there is a power failure the UPS very rapidly switches to battery power for what is plugged into it, keeping the device(s) running. UPS units come in many capacities of what they can keep powered and for how long. For a Home Base you can probably find a decent UPS unit for under $100.
