Is there a way to turn of the base station light on the E25 vacuum?

I have an E28. On my device the light sits underneath the water reservoir. Covering the light with masking take or black electrical tape should fix the issue.

I have the white version so that it hides behind a cabinet and blends in with the paint, so electrical tape is out. Maybe I’ll try athletic tape. Man…what a horrible design idea. It’s like a bright nightlight in the room.

I’m out of town, so I don’t have access to my unit, but something like this may work. It’s weather tape for windows . I use it during the winter for drafts. TBH it’s just white duct tape.
