It's 2024, can we live view consistently yet with a 3rd party app or software?

I just tried Tiny Cam Pro on my Samsung S23U and was able to RTSP my E220/S220s but they never refresh after being added. Forced to turn RTSP on/off each cam to get it back up live.

It behaves just like the eufy website login in, where you can watch and then it times out and stops streaming.

Surely this is not a dead end for the cost of these cameras?

I’d like to have one software for home PC and app to live view.

If anyone is doing this now can you share what hardware you are using and possibly take time to explain configuration steps or share a link tutorial?

Thanks

RTSP works perfectly via VLC player on my desktop, google home works great on my android TV, the eufy app works pretty well on all my androids.

For VLC I use Gerbera server on my Debian machine. I won’t go through the setup process here, but the steps are relatively simple if you’re at all linux terminal literate. A simple google search should get you what you’re after.

Hi,
I am looking as well to live stream my E330 cameras, via eufy app or any third app without timeout limit. Did you found out how to do it with your cameras?
Thank you

Honestly, I switched from Google Nest cameras because of the high cost, but at least you could live stream all camera views at once through the app. I like the eufy hardware but the software technology sucks. It 2024, and viewing all feeds at once is basic functionality. I’ve started with two cameras but if this feature doesn’t get added soon I will cut my losses and buy other equipment.

I think what I wrote is a bit challenging, but I should write, I know that we can integrate eufy cameras with Homeassitant io, this needs to be investigated. With the necessary software and interface arrangements, I think devices connected to direct energy can be monitored 24/7. I think eufy should first of all notify devices like TVs of people who come to the door and press the doorbell with a mini notification bar. But I guess no software team is responding.

I am a technical person, I usually have to check the device’s many settings, how many degrees thermally, should I protect it from heat, how many volts and amps are coming from the solar panel (S330), I should be able to see such technical details, but no one can help with such things. Greetings from Turkey.

By the way, buying these devices in Turkey is a real pain in the neck, there are 2 devices in the country, they are sold at a high price, Anker Turkey hardly brings any cameras.

Same here, I was not able to live stream 24/7 with “professionnal” wired cameras. Returned them since eufy support is not helping and they say they don’t wanna developp this feature… Really sad since it would be a huge add on for them
