I’ve got a number of indoor/outdoor kitties I would like the system to recognize (a la human recognition) and exclude from alerts. Is this possible?

Not as individuals, but you could turn off pet recognition on some of the camera types

I guess I don’t understand the use or need for the “AI” or recognition features of this system if all it does it attach a label to the recorded pieces. It seems to me that it would be easy enough to exclude some or all recognized faces from alerts, ie: I don’t want or need 30 alerts on myself when working outside around the house…the same goes for pet recognition. I think the real benefit to this recognition system would be to allow a selection – no alert for me, do alert for recognized or unrecognized people, no alert for my animals, do alert for others, etc… In fact, aside from labelling these photos and videos with a name – the AI and recognition systems don’t seem to use the recognized names for anything and that seems like a whole lot of cool technology doing nothing.
