Local storage for eufy Homebase 2

I’ve just purchased a 4 camera set with the Homebase 2 but was wondering if I could attach a USB thumb drive or external hard drive to keep the videos?

Don’t think that feature made it to the HB2. (They said they would at one point)

Oh damn it I thought it saved recordings locally for later viewing. Does it save any recordings at all?

You can download any recorded event one at a time to your device. Tap to play the event and you will see the option to download the clip. You also have the option to record to your device anytime you are live streaming.

Sorry to be a pain but does it automatically save recordings to the internal memory?

No pain at all! When your cameras record an event it will be stored in the Homebase. It will stay there until you erase it… the memory gets full and it overwrites it… or the homebase will dump it after a certain amount of time. Haven’t used the HB2 in a while but I think that’s 90 days??? Don’t quote me on that.

You can’t add any memory to the HB2 …. I never thought this was an issue myself. The HB3 allows you to add tons of storage. I can’t figure out why anyone would want to save all that old stuff (unless you were recording a business) … but you can. So… if you have something you want to keep… just tap the download button.

Ok got it thanks.
