I rarely leave product reviews, but after nearly four years of ownership, my Eufy RoboVac G30 has certainly earned one. Affectionately nicknamed “BB” in our household, it has proven to be a remarkably reliable and consistent device.
While a friend of mine has already gone through three robot vacuums in the same period, BB has continued to soldier on without major issues. Every night at midnight, I still hear the familiar phrase, “Start scheduled cleaning,” and it honestly brings a smile to my face. Using what could be described as “old‑school” navigation technology, the G30 methodically makes its way around the house, quietly cleaning for around 40 minutes.
Of course, after years of use, it’s not quite as sharp as it was in its prime. There’s still the occasional moment of suspense—will tonight be the night it gets stuck on the step declaring “I am stuck,” or finds its way into the blinds again? That said, the performance is more than good enough to dramatically reduce my cleaning workload. These days, I only need to vacuum the corners manually, which is a huge win.
Maintenance has been minimal throughout its life. Aside from replacing the brushes, the RoboVac has required very little attention, which is impressive given its age and usage frequency.
Looking back, I remember questioning whether purchasing a robot vacuum would really be worth it. Now, I genuinely can’t imagine life without one. BB has become a trusted part of the household—dare I say, a family member.
If you’re on the fence about buying a robot vacuum, I can confidently recommend Eufy based on my experience. Their products have proven to be extremely reliable, and I wouldn’t be surprised if mine keeps going for another four years.
