Main / startup screen "Devices" of eufy Security APP information "Away" or "Home", any solution or widget?

It would be really great, to see when starting the eufy Security APP if the security status is “Home” or “Away”. I use geofencing to turn on (security status “Away”) or to turn off (security status “Home”) my alarm sirens. But unfortunately the geofencing does not always work 100% correct. And I my neighbors have already complained, that my sirens turn on too often. And my neighbors asked me what low quality brand I am using and if I do not have the money for a professional alarm system?

So I would like to be able to check the security status before entering my house and if I need to change it. Currently it is very time consuming and annoying to start the APP go to Security, go to HomeBase, go to Geofencing to see the status. 5 steps in total. There should be a shortcut to see the status of the security settings on the main page of the APP or even better a widget to see and change the security status on the home screen of my iPhone. At least that would be my expectation from an professional alarm system.

The Devices Screen in the eufy app has the various modes listed across the top (at least mine does on the iPhone and iPad ). You can change the mode by just clicking on the one you want.

Thank you very much for the hint.
Unfortunately my iPhone and iPad does not display it, see screenshot.
Can I turn it on and off somewhere in the settings?
Or do I have to set it up first?

Dunno, AFAIK it’s always been there on mine. You can scroll the list to the right to see more modes. Have you clicked on the “Security” tab at the bottom and set up the modes? Do you have outdoor cams or only indoor? I have noticed that folks have different things on their screens depending on their setup. eufy really needs to work on UI consistency IMO. Note, you need to be on the “Home” screen not on “Devices” (see top left of my screen vs your screen).

I too would like to see a widget on the iOS home screen that would allow for easy switching of the security modes. I use HomeKit for my Geofencing needs but since my wife is on Android, I still have to go into the Eufy app and manually switch the mode to home or away.

I know this is very much a 1st world problem but in 2024, this should be a piece of cake to implement. Eufy is choosing NOT to do widgets or allow Siri Shortcuts to talk to the app for god knows why.

I believe you need to configure your Eufy account to a Home instead of having “All Devices” like your pix shows.

Go to the main screen and at the top left there is an arrow next to “All Devices” . Select Manage Home and then define your Home to contain some or all of your devices.

When you go back to the main screen after creating and assigning a Home, it should show the Modes at the top.

Thank you for your support, yes the challenge was, that I have to select the relevant Home and not “All Devices”. It is understandable but not very inuitive, especially when you have only one Home.

BUT unfortunately these modes are not what I am looking for.
Now I see on the start screen, that I am always in “Geofencing” because I do not change it.
But what I would like to know is not that I am using “Geofencing”. I would like to know if geofencing corretly identifies if I am at home or away. So in case geofencing did not work corretly, what often happens, I can correct it manually.

So across the bottom click on “Events”. Changes to mode are shown as an event.
