Just communicated with Eufy, they claim they will be releasing a software update with significant changes in mid November. One of the issues will be addressed is reflective surfaces and sliding doors.
I too, at one time had your exact issue where the mapping assumed another room past the sliding doors which is my yard!!. Had to remap the entire house where I blocked the bottom side of the sliding doors with 4” blue tape during mapping. That hack worked.
My e25 is lost 98% of the time, can never find the base, lost the map of the house multiple times. It was supposed to be cleaning while we were away , NOPE , drove right into the middle of a No-Go zone , now it’s locked up and shut down. Complete JUNK.
Shocker the “support” team could t help! I’ll be surprised if they respond to my email after my customer support call was elevated… There are several questions I have that I would hope to easily find the answer in the app, but they aren’t there. Geesh! They should do better with customer support! It’s becoming a thing of the past, unfortunately.
I believe it is vacuuming and mopping at the same time. So the vacuum duct is in the front and the mop is on the rear so the dust and particulate are removed first before the mop heads cross the same area.
