My doorbell camera never recognises vehicles, it normally registers them as movement. I think once when I first installed it recognised my car and took a picture of the number plate but not since. we have cars coming and going all day

Unfortunately, yes it is normal, would be great car detection/recording.
My doorbell camera never alerts me, end of. The homebase 2 and 3 are buggy and I’ve sent Hours of video to customer service manager. 5 weeks later nothing fixed.
