Wait, was this the e340 doorbell or an indoor camera?

Best way to set it up is to place it in a corner if it’s going in a room and as high up as possible, pointing down to get the most coverage.
Congratulations on your new S350 — it’s a great little camera! You’ll be impressed by the image quality and zoom.
A few tips you might find useful:
1. Placement matters.
Give it a stable surface up high and avoid putting it directly under bright, direct light — glare or reflections can reduce clarity, especially in night mode.
2. Set up presets.
If you use the pan and tilt feature, create two or three preset positions (for example, door, couch, and hallway). You can then jump instantly between them in the app when you’re away.
3. Use Activity Zones wisely.
They’re excellent for reducing false alerts — just draw the zones where movement actually matters.
4. Adjust the motion sensitivity and detection type.
Start around level 5 or 6 and limit detection to human only if pets or shadows trigger it too often.
5. Keep the lens clean.
Do not touch the lenses. Natural skin oils can degrade the image. A quick wipe with a microfiber cloth every couple of weeks keeps the image crisp.
6. Night vision check.
Make sure the infrared LEDs are enabled if you need visibility in the dark. The S350’s dual-lens setup handles low-light scenes well.
7. Firmware updates.
Run the latest firmware.
I have 3 of these cameras recording 24/7 on my HomeBase3 units. Although Eufy discourages it, I have mine mounted inside behind windows, positioned close to the glass and angled in a way that light bouncing off the window surface does not interfere so much with the picture. Two of my cameras closer to the door entry can track human movement from outside to inside the premises. Wow! The only downside I have with my setup is that I cannot have night vision turned on, as the infrared light bouncing off the glass windows hazes the image (which is not so much of a limitation for my purposes, as I have exterior lights outside that turn on whenever the exterior sensors detect movement after dark).
Enjoy your new setup. Once you’ve had it running for a few days, you’ll quickly learn how super responsive and detailed the video can be.
Great choice
The footage is from my E340 doorbell. The S350 indoor cam is in the package.
