My neighbor is not going to be happy that your dog is urinating on his mailbox.
I find it interesting that people think they can let their dogs use private property to relieve themselves. If my dogs step on someone’s grass/driveway or show interest in their trees/mailboxes they are corrected. The best videos are when my neighbor comes running outside to yell at them

Name what law he’s breaking? Dogs are allowed to pee where they want. Get off your high tower, or call the police and watch them laugh at you.

Your dog is not allowed to urinate or defecate on another’s property including driveways, lawns, landscaping and other items that come in contact with human hands. Fines start at $50 and go up to $1000. In addition to being a public health hazard, it causes property damage and is inconsiderate. As a dog owner myself, I love my dogs. They are part of the family, but also a responsibility - allowing them to use the bathroom wherever they want shows a lack of training, control and proper leash management (some of the most effective ways of keeping your canine companion safe

Then where are dogs suppose to urinate? Concrete or public toilets? “Pooper scooper laws” give me a break dude. Dogs pee where they want. We have similar laws here not one says a dog can’t pee on someone’s lawn. There’s no property that doesn’t belong to someone. Don’t piss on me and tell me it’s raining I’m not that ignorant. If you really spend this much time justify your post you really have no life.
What you mean to say is your dogs pee wherever they’d like and in your opinion that’s ok.
Where I live there are laws that say it’s unacceptable. It’s not my opinion or interpretation and doesn’t need my justification. I was just trying to help educate someone who had questions. I’m a veterinarian so animal wellfare and well-being is my professional life.

I was discussing a dog urinating on my neighbor’s property. You asked for a law that you believed did not exist, and I provided it. No one is being prosecuted over this, but citations are issued, which I have personally witnessed.
Pets are allowed to relieve themselves on their owner’s property, in areas where permission has been granted, or in designated spaces such as dog parks.
My ability to read, interpret, and understand the law has nothing to do with political affiliations, worldviews, or personal opinions.
Also, could you clarify what you mean by “get a life”?
As homeowners, we are responsible for purchasing, installing, and maintaining our mailboxes, lawns, and landscaping. My neighbor should not have to repeatedly reseed his lawn, replace plants, or clean urine stains and odors from his mailbox because someone else failed to properly manage their pet.
I don’t think it is unreasonable to have protections in place to prevent damage to private property and to encourage basic respect for others in the community.
I had a fox marking his area on my driveway wall last night, made me laugh. But it is annoying when dog owners on purpose don’t clean up dog poop and kids step on it (carries disease) especially on private property or on the public pavements. My elderly neighbour, had a pile of dog mess on her driveway edge, which some bad owner had repeatly used as a toilet area. Responsible owners carry a bag and scoop up the mess and take it home to dispose of it. I once heard of someone who was fed up, he gathered all the dog crap and then went to the dog owners house and put it on their property…or was it inside their letter box?
Then call the cops every time a dog pees and watch them laugh at you as you cite the law you’re such an expert at. LOL. Again you ignore everything I say typical toxic social media warrior. lol
I still think there’s some confusion. The video was of my neighbor’s property, not mine, and no one has ever laughed at my neighbor. The police simply did their job, just like everyone else is expected to do. In many smaller municipalities and jurisdictions, a significant portion of the municipal budget is generated through citations and ordinance enforcement.
I’m not claiming to be a legal expert, but I do know how to read and research. You asked if I could cite a law, so I looked it up and provided it for you.
