Need a separate alarm from homebase. If I’m in and want it to go off to warn me then it’s great. If I’m out initially I thought great to try scare someone off.
But now I think it’s just like… Hey come smash me and destroy all my recorded videos

Yes you can have it off when you’re away. If you have the old app tap security at bottom of home page if you have the new app they call it smart. Either way when you tap on that then tap on home base and then there’s a screen that has home or away options each one will give you a list of devices and options under settings to have home base alarm on or off for each device. You will have to toggle the home or away option on or off as you come and go. Hope that makes sense.
Yeah eufy needs to make an outdoor house security alarm like most security systems but as of yet they don’t . Need Solar security burglar alarm bolt to house at least
