I need the schedule section of the C30 app to do something it apparently can’t.
I’m using it for a short-term rental, and need to be able to set one code that is good from time A on day A to time B on day B (for example, 4 pm on Friday to noon on Sunday). The existing schedule section won’t allow me to do this.
I also can’t set up three programs (for example 4 pm to midnight on Friday, midnight to midnight on Saturday, and midnight to noon on Sunday) because each program has to have a unique entry code.
It only allows me to schedule from time A to time B on either a given, repeating day of the week (for example, 10 am to noon every Tuesday) or a given stretch of days (for example, 10 am to noon on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday). This would be great for letting in a regular housecleaner, or a kid coming home from school, but it’s worse than no smart lock at all for STR guests. They’d rather have a key than a code that changes every day.
The only thing I seem to be able to do right now is set it for the entire day for the days the guests will be there, including arrival and departure. But even THAT is challenging because there’s no indication whether 12 AM is midnight or noon. I’ve taken to using 11:59 pm and 12:01 am, but that does lock them out for two minutes every night.
This shouldn’t be too difficult to fix, Eufy!
It would also be great to have it integrate with the STR software, but that’s much lower on my list in terms of importance.
