Not recording sometimes

I have the 2 camera setup. Have had for about 2 months now. I have set detector setting to just motions now as it was not recording sometimes when people entered the home. Was working OK and even picked up Bush move in wind. Now today when I actually need to know when m daughter was home and it didn’t even record or show the car pull up or her entering the home. I am not very happy with this brand as my friends has a different brand and does not have an issue. What can one do about this issue. Thanks
