I can’t see the the date and timestamp in the videos because my fence which is white obscures it.
Provide an user option where you can change the font text color.
My personal workaround: I have set up a data privacy zone so it “covers the timestamp”. The zone is black, the timestamp is white → good contrast.
That’s a smart workaround but, the cam I have doesn’t have privacy zones.
What cam do you have?

This seems like an old thread, but in case anyone reads it, unfortunately the only thing I could come up with was to put a piece of electrical tape in the corner of the lens. It’s a ridiculous fix, but you deal with what you have. I like the camera, but it’s not a battery camera, so it doesn’t have the privacy setting like the battery cameras do. I’m not sure if they make a hardwired camera that has the privacy setting. It took a while becasue the lens is small, but it seems to work.
