Our lovely mother deer has just had her baby. We have been watching this doe for a couple months and for her to have this baby on our property proves she is safe and protected.

Oh how wonderful!! And reassuring.
I had been so concerned about our usual fox visitors after sightings dropped. I believed one was a young female (born last year) who was pregnant. Then recently had the incredible fortune to catch a glimpse of baby fox… So surprised–my heart leapt! What a relief. I hope they are okay still.
I suppose parents try to stay out of sight when they have a baby, so sightings drop. It’s so good to find out that baby is safe.
