Well I get mine on Saturday so we will find out then.
Nothing in the UK yet … As usual we are left out AGAIN !
It’s legit.
Has anyone purchased this yet? Waiting to see if its any good before getting one myself!
It’s available on Amazon for next day delivery £39.99.
Not available yet in France…
Not one has tested the product ?
Should have delivery Friday…
I just received mine a few days ago and here is my experience and concerns.
- I am happy that the siren is actually quite loud and ear piercing when close to it.
- There are two volume levels (low and high) low is equivalent to the homebase alarm at full volume maybe a little bit louder.
- Once the siren is added there will be an additional siren toggle option when your editing your modes and it works with automations. This allows just the siren to be triggered instead of the homebase which is what I wanted so I can hide the homebase from intruders.
- The device is small about the same size as my hand.
- There is only one sound it can make and you dont have options to change it like on the homebase. It sounds like a smoke alarm but the beeps are faster.
- You cannot manually sound the alarm, it has to be triggered. The panic button on the keypad only sounds the homebase alarm and not the siren.
- There is no alarm duration you can set. The siren will keep going off until manually stopped via the app or keypad. Edit: the siren will only go off for 30 seconds like the homebase.
- Right now there is an issue with setting up the siren with the leaving delay and alarm delay so unless you always change modes outside of your home it will immediately trigger the siren when you leave or enter which is very annoying and im working with Eufy support on this.
Right now I probably wouldnt purchase it until some issues get worked out.
I will be returning mine unless the leaving and arming delay gets resolved.
This is hugely useful feedback. If I was the Product Manager for this it would be the worst feedback (showing nobody actually took the product home and used it in real life before shipping it) but for us it is great!
Point 7 (no automatic cutoff time) would break the law here, from what I know. All alarms must have a max 3 min sound time (and no repeat in X mins … ).
Point 3 is exactly what I would want. Thanks for pointing it out.
Point 8 is a show-stopper for the average user so …
I think I’ll wait a little while.

Does anyone have an audio sample of the siren?
That’s really helpful, much appriciated.
Fingers crossed they can resolved point 8 sooner rather than later, I’ll hold off purchaing until then.
Thanks again!
I was mistaken but I updated the post. The siren only goes off for 30 seconds like the homebase. In the app when the siren is triggered it just says “siren alarm” with no countdown timer like when the homebase alarm is going off so I assumed it would just keep going.
I wish I had waited.
This makes no sense to have the alarm to go off immediately when the system is armed and a door is opened . Likewise for entering the house when armed. There absolutely has to be a delay.
The engineers and product manager are absolute amateurs here.
They should be ashamed.
Took delivery of 2 units in the UK today (via Amazon as we can return up till 31/01/24).
-
Nice small unit
-
Easy to set up
-
The chirp is loud, but would be good to be able to choose a more siren’y sound
-
And yep, the delay only applies to the Homebase and not the siren
I’ve set my system up so the front door with the delay doesn’t have the siren linked to it and so just the Homebase countdown is trigged. But then have the siren activated by all other sensors that do not have the delay. Will work for me in the interim as the only stuff they can nick if any value is the Dyson without triggering the other sensors
Will keep for the time being and try it out for a few weeks before 31/01 return deadline.
I then used the ‘share feedback’ button on the siren and got a very quick response:
Dear Steve,
I understand that the immediate activation of the siren when a sensor with a delay is triggered can be frustrating. This is not the expected behavior, as the siren should respect the delay set for the sensor before sounding the alarm. To address this issue, please follow these steps:
- Check the settings for the sensor in the eufySecurity app to ensure the delay is correctly configured.
- Verify that the HomeBase and the siren are running on the latest firmware. You can check for updates in the eufySecurity app by going to HomeBase Settings > General > About Device > Check for latest firmware.
- Restart the HomeBase by going to HomeBase Settings in the app and selecting Restart Device.
- If the siren is still not respecting the delay, try removing the sensor from the app and then re-adding it. This can sometimes resolve unexpected behavior.
If you have attempted the suggested troubleshooting and are still experiencing issues, please respond with a brief description of the issue post-troubleshooting and help to provide us with the following information to apply for further assistance or a replacement:
- If convenient, would you please provide a screenshot or a short video to depicting this issue?
- A screenshot or pdf of the invoice confirming your purchase’s order number and original shipping address. 3. The serial number (SN) on the device consists of digits and characters such as SN: T8500*******, which can be found on the device. Serial number can also be found in eufy Security app. Steps: menu>Device Settings>general>about device>Serial number.
- Your shipping address.
I hope this helps, and I look forward to resolving this issue for you. If the issue persists, don’t hesitate to reply to this email. We’re always here to help!
Thanks @hha87 for your precious feedback.
About the point (1). The description said that the alarm is at 105db.
I have S300 Cameras and on the description, they said the alarm is at 100db and I don’t think the siren is loud enough. So 5 more db for the siren product makes the difference ?
About the point (8), if you can make an automation, you can deferred a sensor for example and trigger an automation “when a movement is detected the siren will sound”
Furthermore does someone know why this isn’t available in Europe / UK yet ?
Hi, It is available in the UK at Amazon £39.99.
Thanks !
I hope this will be available soon in France. My question was “why”. There is always a delay like that between provide a product in US/UK/Canada and Europe ?
I’m actively working with Eufy on the ‘delay’ issue where the siren is triggered immediately and ignoring the delay setting. To be fair they are very responsive and have been asking for various logs and tests etc to help then understand why it’s not working as desired (I’m UK based).
Is it available in the UK. Will purchase one before it gets out of stock. Just like the keypad, I think they have stopped producing it.

Can you share a short video demonstrator, if possible? Thanks.
