Quick update on the siren delay issue. They’ve identified it’s an issue with the app itself so a new version of the app should be released in the next week.
Mine is also on 3.4.2.3. Apparently there is a more recent homebase 3 firmware thats needed to fix the alarm delay issue. I have sent an email to Eufy requesting they push the most up to date firmware to my homebase 3 including its serial number. I suggest you do the same if the new firmware isnt available to you yet. You will also need the Eufy Security app on 4.8.0 as well.
The siren is available in amazon FR but the comments are very bad. The fact that you can change the type of alarm is one of the negatives point. Furthermore 105db is apparently not loud as expected. What a waste of time for a product that Eufy’s users are waiting for years… if we check some others products (not eufy brand) the siren is at least 110db. My neighbors have Ajax security (112db) and we can hear the alarm… i am very disappointed on this product.
I’ve previously created a post asking why the now Homebase 3 connected Wall Light Cam isn’t shown in the app “Automations” section.
It also had me thinking.
The S100 has a 105db alarm fitted and flashing lights. So if it was configurable in Automations you could have any sensors as triggers to make it the outdoor siren component of the alarm system. As well as triggered recording for anything in Automations.
It’s a hard wired unit too, so no charging of batteries!
