Hello,
I am experiencing exactly the same issue described in this thread.
I have two cameras connected to a HomeBase Professional S1:
eufyCam 2 Pro (T8140) – firmware 3.0.8.6
eufyCam 2 (T8114) – firmware 2.7.4
HomeBase Professional S1 – firmware 4.2.4.2
Both cameras were working perfectly before the recent firmware update.
Since the update, Human Recognition keeps disabling itself on both cameras.
When I enable Human Recognition, the red human icon disappears as expected. However, after a few minutes, Human Recognition is automatically disabled again on both cameras, and the red human icon reappears.
There is also another strange behavior:
When I check the Human Recognition option, the setting does not always seem to be saved. I have to enable another option and then disable it again before the Human Recognition setting is actually applied.
This happens with both cameras, even though they have different camera firmware versions.
Because both cameras worked correctly before the update, and because they are running different firmware versions but are connected to the same S1 Pro, I suspect there may be a firmware or synchronization issue between the S1 Pro and the cameras, or possibly an issue with the Eufy Security app.
I have already tried repeatedly disabling and re-enabling Human Recognition, but the problem keeps coming back after a few minutes.
Could you please investigate whether this is a known issue with the latest firmware, particularly with the HomeBase Professional S1 (4.2.4.2)?
I would also appreciate it if other users with an S1 Pro and eufyCam 2/2 Pro could confirm whether they are experiencing the same problem.
Thank you.
