Push button issue 2K Video Doorbell

Dear,

I’ve got an issue with my 2K Battery Video Doorbell. I have to press the push button twice in order to let it ring. It seems that the first press is needed to wake up the doorbell, because as of the second press it rings as it is supposed to.

This is quite annoying since we miss visitors and parcel deliveries due to this. Most people just press the button once of course and then leave.

Are there people here familiar with this issue? And how to fix it?

Hi,
I’m not familiar with that issue… though I do recall something that may be similar to it, as others had an issue where the camera would not detect/recorded movement as if the camera was asleep.
A firmware update corrected that.
Go into the settings of the doorbell tap on General and then about device and check for firmware update.
Double press the doorbell button and then attempt to update if there is one available.
