RSTP maximum camera

Hi All,
I’m have had a look around the forum but can’t find the answer.
I am looking at getting a Eufycam system and would look to use the RSTP functionality to a synology but I have read there is a 2 cam maximum.
Is this still the case?

Cheers

I would read a lot. Not just what your looking for. This product might not be what you want.

Thank you. I have been reading of the RSTP limitations (as in still only captures motion when the cameras are activated which in turn only captures on motion to the synology) which is fine for me.
Just wanted to know if the 2 can limitation of RSTP still exists?

Cheers

What if it only captured 80% of what you want, missed the other 20%, but made up for it by catching a whole bunch of nothing to fill the gap while continuously flaking out? Still fine for you?

That’s what I’m talking about. Read about the issues before you commit to a purchase.

Cool thanks for clearing that up for me!

I cannot answer your RSTP question, but I will comment that there are many of us who are perfectly happy with our systems. I do not have lots of spurious captures, and as far as I am aware, I do not miss anyone coming to my door.

For what it is: a battery-operated motion-triggered camera system with local storage, it works great for me. There are occasional issues with the app server / mobile app / notifications, but if you read through the forums at Arlo or Wyze, you’ll find the same complaints.

If you want pro, go pro, dedicated, hard-wired. If you want home user grade, eufy is a nice balance of price / features / tradeoffs.

Cheers mate.

I have found that there seemed to be some eufy users who have their gripes and some who are perfectly happy but as you say that’s the same with all systems.
I think Eufy will be fine for my needs in the long run but as I saw the 2 cam limit thought I would ask the question.

Perhaps it might be better directed at eufy support rather than the community
