Can someone please explain to me if I’m missing something or, if this is actually what I’m supposed to see with this product?
I just bought this kit because it has deep discounts right now (I guess now I know why), and for my purposes I don’t really care about HomeBase 2 vs 3. I mostly picked this package because I read it has HomeKit compatibility. I set it up, only to find that only the HomeBase has HomeKit compatibility, and not the S220. At this point I figure ok, maybe once I get everything added to the Eufy app and add the HomeBase to HomeKit, maybe I can watch video through the HomeBase, via HomeKit.
Nope, the HomeBase gets added to HomeKit as a “hub” and I have no way of seeing anything on it. The doorbell has no visibility in HomeKit.
So, what exactly was the point of adding the HomeBase to HomeKit? It serves no purpose that I can see. The doorbell that was literally in the box with the HomeBase can’t be seen through there.
Or, should I see the S220 through HomeKit somehow and something over here just isn’t working right? Or, is Eufy literally selling a package with two products that aren’t 100% compatible with each other?
