SD card option in E330 professional camera

I can see that there is an option to install a SD card in E330 professional cameras.
The question is if I use a sd card, will the memory flow to Homebase HDD at all?

There has been a recent incident when burglers jammed the 2.4Ghz frequency, and eufy camera stopped working (no recording, no notification).
I am wondering would it be able to record to SD card is a similar event happens again?
Can I also set to use SD card only as a failover memory?

That’s a good question about the SD card option…
You’d probably have to ask eufy support.

Though I would think that it would record on both medias (even though you have it set to record on the HB3) at the same time, since one is transmitted via Wi-Fi to the HB3 and the other is just internal to the SD card.

supports up to 128GB microSD card.

I don’t use a HomeBase but,
I know my powered Solo OutdoorCam C24 / E220 still records to the SD card when Wi-Fi is lost.

Trying to view / access that SD card footage when you have it set to record onto the HB3 I don’t know if it will show up in the Events List, maybe there’s a filter option to choose what media to view.

Most likely you probably need to test it out yourself.

true, I will test it myself and update it here

This is from Eufy Support Team

Unfortunately, the eufyCam E330 does not support recording to an SD card. The SD card slot is non-functional as the camera is designed to store videos on the HomeBase 3 and its hard drive. Currently, there is no option to use an SD card as a failover memory. In the future, if this feature is implemented, updates will be provided on the app or product page.

Yeah, I found this info too…
“As for the micro SDXC slot, currently, it doesn’t have practical use for the set. However, in the future, when the camera supports Standalone usage, the SD card can be used for local storage.”

Eufy really needs to get on it to function as a backup when Wi-Fi is jammed or down with a firmware update.
