I recently installed a S350 HomeBase, two S350 indoor cameras, and one S330 outdoor camera for my home, where I live with my wife and son. Here’s what I’m trying to achieve:
When someone is home: Indoor cameras off, outdoor camera on.
When no one is home: Indoor cameras on, outdoor camera on.
I want the indoor cameras to automatically turn off when someone returns home and turn on when everyone leaves.
I’ve tried using Geofencing and tinkered with Away and MyAway modes, but it’s not working reliably. Am I missing something? The setup process doesn’t feel very intuitive. Any advice or ideas would be greatly appreciated!
Eufy Geofencing was never reliable. Since the last update it is not working good at all.
All my settings are good. It’s Eufy that is incapable of getting geofencing to work
A real shame. Customer support os not supportive. I think they simply are not doing anything at all to get it working.
This is a shame since it seems like many of us really want to utilize a geofencing option in order to trigger cameras, lock/unlock doors, etc.
I would even be happy to help Eufy with getting this feature up and running if they need a tester to figure out distances for trigger functions or any other help I could provide. I really want this feature to function properly and where it will allow the user to choose the trigger distance.
