So I am looking to charge the E340 via 3W solar panel that has a 400mAH battery. It has 1.5A capacity, max voltage is 5.1 volts, output voltage is 5V. Will this charge the battery thru the rear terminals of the back of the camera or should I get the USB-C charging cable to do so? My issue with the USB port is the space in the back for the cable in the case it is in. Which is what came with the Eufy.
I see there is a universal one by Wasserstain, but to use it would have to move the whole door bell to q location that gets direct sunlight. The panel with battery I am looking at has 13ft of cable so I place the panel on the top of the covered porch.
Other question is should I go up in battery and get the 5200mAH on instead or is that overkill. Door bell is in high traffic area. I have less issues with it recording vs the other 2 eufy cameras I have facing out front til I put up the pro version of Eufy cams I have.
