So I have the eufy Home base 3. Any experiences or thoughts about connecting to router via ethernet…vs. unconnected and using WiFi?

Ethernet is just quicker and more reliable. Trying to live view for example is WAY faster on ethernet.
Ive used it both ways and noticed a big difference

I was under the impression that the Homebase 3 had to be connected to your router via Ethernet only!
For the initial setup, yes afterwards you can connect it to your home’s Wi-Fi if you want or if you need to.
Ethernet is always better than WiFi for speed and stability. Nobody is sharing that cable but WiFi is very likely to be busy with other traffic
