Solo camera or connected to Homebase

Hi All,

I got a solid Eufy setup with:

  • Homebase 2
  • Video doorbell
  • 2x Eufy cam 2 pro
  • Solar Panel
  • Standalone Indoor camera (in garage)

Everything is connected with the Homebase, except for the stand-alone Indoor camera (it has own SSD).

Now I am considering to change the indoor camera with Eufy 2c, sp everything is connected to Homebase. Is this a smart idea of would it be good to leave it like it is now?

Probably the only issue would be no continuous recording if you swap an indoor cam for a 2C. If you don’t need continuous recording then the only other issue is having to charge the 2C where your indoor cam uses wired power.

Thanks for the response. I do not use continuous recording with the indoor camera at this point. It is triggered and recording on motion in the garage. I can charge a 2c with a USB cable right? I am doing this with a 2 Pro aswell.
