Why do so many people steal packages? I want to make a fake bomb package. Imagine how scared they would be when they steal it and open it.

I saw on the news that there was someone who put hidden cameras in their car and a backpack that would spray glitter into thieves’ faces when they opened the backpack after breaking into the car. They did this because their car kept getting broken into.

Some criminals steal people’s packages and sell the items online, e.g., Amazon, eBay, etc. for money.
what will people do? Will Amazon re-ship the order for free because the order was not well delivered to the customer’s hand? Will people report to the police and will the police attempts to catch them?

I had my Kiehl’s package (300$) stolen. I contacted customer service and they told me that they had fine their duty ie delivering the package to my house and its not their problem even though it was a
“ high value package” , their words not mine. I am now dealing with my credit card but frankly Kiehls has been anything but helpful with me, a very long and loyal customer.
Kiehls response on chat, email and phone was laconic, robotic and not a single bit useful.
I sincerely hope that this person get reimbursed for their stolen package, if not , it’s an expensive video …
