This is a common scam, I dealt with them a lot before I bought my home a few years ago. They try to get you to switch energy providers, often by claiming to be with your energy provider and asking to look at your equipment so they can write down some serial number or whatever and switch you over. Or they tell you that your bills will be lower if you switch, but inevitably they will be higher and have hidden fees for usage and the like. Varying levels of shadiness.

I hate it when these people come to my home I don’t need you offering / telling me I can lower my electric bill.
Also the others that want to sell you solar at no cost.
I know they’re trying to make a living or a commission, but how truthful is the information they are giving you?
They ask how much you pay a month, and I give them some crazy low price and they say they can still beat it _ yeah okay _
Also they want to take a photograph of your bill… No, that’s not happening buddy go away.
If I was interested in either both, I would research it myself.

Ya a lot of them are shady characters… They give them a fu e hour course how to best con you in a shady deal…
They probably get about five bucks for every deal or acoustic they can rap …
And what the first response was, you can’t trust no one now days… sad but true…
There so many scams going on, It’s not even funny… I dint trust nobody that walks up to my front door… Not even these wishy Momons…
