Hi all, I have just installed the Eufy C31 with Chime video doorbell. I had used the original wires with my previous bell which the app detected and the battery symbol was charging. However when I tried to set up 24/7 recording the “The Doorbell wires are not working” came up in the app. I though this was because the old bell used an 8v transformer so I installed a new transformer which is putting out 16v at the bell. However the same message is still coming up when switching to 24/7. The battery is being charged by the wires - is the green wired symbol still a thing in the app as I have seen this referenced else where but my app just shows a grey battery charging. Anyone had anything similar or clues as to why this systne does not like the wiring?

So it looks like you will need to use the jumper to bypass your doorbell chime.
Also if you do go 24/7 recording and with the max 128 GB SD card installed not sure how well that’ll work out you may lose some footage of recordings if it rewrites over it unless you’re using an HomeBase 3
