The Eufycam S4 tracking my neighbor shoveling snow at distance of 90 ft/27.4 meters. The camera is set to detect humans and animals. I upgraded from a Solocam S340 which didn’t have this range or clarity.

Did they trigger the detection? Or did you zoom over to their position and the AI tracking took over
They triggered the detection. I didn’t see it until a few days later.

WOW! So you don’t have a current Detection/Activity Zone set. Or is it just doing what Eufy Activity zones do. Not detect for the area set?
I’m not going to lie. I set it up in a bit of a rush as there was a snow storm heading in. I left almost all the setting factory except for these
After you’re message I looked into it and it looks as if the Bullet/Fixed camera FOV is acting as the activity zone as I set the fixed camera to work in conjunction with the PTZ. I have the PTZ covering a different preset location leading to my front door. I have the benefit of entry way coverage plus the added fixed camera Activity zone

Impressive range
It shows nicely how much better the S4 is compared with the S340 (I have both). If you don’t want to monitor the neighbours just angle the lenses (both the fixed physically and the moveable via the pan and tilt settings)
