This is what a SpaceX rocket launch looks like from my garage camera. This launch took off from the Kennedy Space Center early this morning. It was a very cloudy night so you see the rocket light up the clouds. During most launches you can see the rocket if the skies are clear.

Wow–thats so cool! Thanks for sharing your video. When I was young (in the 80’s) my parents used to get tickets to the shuttle launches and we drive down to see them. It was so neat. I still have vivid memories, and now that I’m older I really cherish and appreciate those memories.
Has to be one of the best things a doorbell could pickup.
WoWo…

I was at NASA for the final shuttle night launch back in 2007 (I think that is the right year). It was very foggy but once the shuttle started its lift off the sky just lit up. It was a beautiful sight to see. This video reminds me if that me of that.

Thanks for all the nice comments. We have launches all the time. I will try to get one with a clear night to share. I wish you all could hear and feel it. It’s very loud and really shakes the ground. Our windows and garage door always rattle.
Epic and a hard one to beat.
Amazing video
