Unable to connect over mobile data

Had the same issue. Got a eufy camera today and couldnt connect to the camera device while on 4G. Saw that someone in this thread talked about installing a VPN app which makes the phone think wifi is on. VPN unfortunately isnt free.
I just turned on my wifi on the phone, even if its not connected to any wifi network, that made it work!

This was the solution, i selected the option that supports both ipv4 and ipv6.

Don’t kmow why but on my samsung phone mobile network I need the VPN on for eufy to work and on my wife’s it doesn’t need the VPN on. I hope that Eufy can resolve this one for me

Exactly having this issue in recent months. Before that, it worked normally on my dual sim (physical sim + esim) Samsung S23. However, it suddenly turned out failed to work over mobile data. After reading this discussion thread and I disabled my physical sim, it started to work with my esim mobile data…Eufy team, please fix this annoying issue asap! Thank you!

However, my wife’s iphone 11 (two physical sims) works properly without any issue.

Brilliant, this worked for me. I turned off IPv6 on my mobile phone access point …

  • Go to “Settings” and tap “Connections.”
  • Tap “Mobile networks.”
  • Select your access point.
  • Tap the “APN protocol.”
  • Select either IPv4

After long troubleshooting, at least in my case, Samsung S23 Ultra, where cannot connect over mobile data to my eufy camers through eufy security app, it all came down to this:

Dual sim enabled. Dual sim with VoLTE enabled.

Go to settings, connections, mobile networks, disable the toggle for VoLTE calls on the sim that isn’t used for data. Only keep VoLTE on for the sim that you are using for data.

Thanks @wes2296 so much! I had tried so many things on my S23 Ultra, and this was exactly the setting I needed to change. Not sure I would ever have found it on my own. THANKS!

This is STILL happening in 2025.
I have two e-SIMs on my iPhone 16 Pro.
I can’t stream or access saved videos at all on the Telstra network but
On the Amaysim network the Eufy App is working fine streaming video from the cameras and viewing stored videos on the Homebase 2.

I spent hours testing all the suggestions on the FAQs.
This has nothing to do with Blocked Ports, Port forwarding and any other tweaks on the router and firewall. It’s a mobile carrier issue. I’m going to reach out to Eufy and see what they have to say. Presumably Telstra is blocking access to Eufy servers as they see them as a security risk.

Same problem here - also temporarily resolved by removing one SIM in the phone when it works.

Eufy needs to acknowledge that there is a bug in their software and fix it.

New versions of the Samsung software do not have the option to disable Voice over LTE so that is no longer a workaround.

The stupid issue with me since I changed ISP is that some of my cameras work and others don’t…

And it’s not an issue with by phone.
The ones that don’t work don’t work from any other WiFi network either it has to be my actual WiFi network that the cameras are connected to for it to work…

I think the problem is that my new Internet carrier is behind a CG-NAT but it still works fine for some cameras but not others which is strange

@euf4653 Let us know how you get on.
I’m the same scenario and it’s very frustrating

It’s got to be some sort of phone setting. As long as my iPhone has signal it’s always connected

All of my C210 failed after updates too

I have 2 sims too. Turn off “allow mobile data switching” which works for me.
