We get this too… used to be great.

My doorbell’s battery is only holding for 4 days or max 1 week!! Exchanged in store now for the 3rd time. Any advise to follow? Thnx.

I am having the same problem.

My settings say human alert but I am getting any car thst passes by. Very annoying and not useful at all. How can I fix this?

Doorbell is rubbish, my £20 chep chinese doorbell worked way better. No notifications of humans and uk customer service are terrible always wanting action from the consumer to do this or that, upload this log screenshot that. They know this camera is bugged but refuse to fix the known issues

Is there away to de sensitise the detector. I get constant “human” notifications despite no one there

Motion detections zones do not work. Toggle options (humans/vehicles/animals) do not work- I’m forced to toggle “All Other Motions” and this constantly receives false alerts on leaves blowing in the wind, despite lowering sensitivity. People and cars are sometimes detected on motion, especially if they are within 10ft. Dual video 2k doorbell is limited in detection options (only has 2: humans & all other motions). Cannot turn off blue motion ring light at night (I don’t want questionable people to know exactly when my camera is recording them-more secure to keep them guessing and not know when it’s recording them). I have reached out to Eufy customer service/engineers numerous times requesting for new working replacements. Still no response on that. I regret purchasing my whole Eufy security system. Wish I would have chosen another security company and I cannot recommend Eufy to anyone at this point. So disappointed.

My for bell is not recording

I have a T8210 doorbell which is now wired but I cannot get into HDR settings why?Eufy didn’t answer the question. If I have to buy a different wired doorbell for the UK what and why I would like answers.

Why am not alerted on my phone when the doorbell rings? If I’m out how will I know someone is at my front door.

My doorbell camera works perfectly in the day time but at night it sees motion about every 3 minutes and notifies me. I tried with both with the infrared light on and off. I have studied the videos and there is no movement. I have tried different activity zones and can only get it to stop if i turn the activity zone off. What do i have set wrong? Because it works flawlessly during the day.

Hi, this would be the most obvious. Do you have the doorbell Notification Settings set correctly?


Also scroll down a bit to the App Alert Tones: make sure Ring Alerts isn’t set to silent.
Still not working try turning the doorbell OFF then back ON.

I have just changed internet provider so changed Homebase unit to new router. It works fine as does 2 of my outside cameras and the doorbell chime. However, I can’t get my actual eufy doorbell to sync. I’ve tried removing it and then removing chime as well as that didn’t fix it. The chime synced fine but still can’t connect the doorbell. I’ve followed instructions on app and scanned the QR code but keeps saying unsuccessful. Would greatly appreciate any help :pray:

Are you trying to sync it / add it to the HomeBase or just to the App? What doorbell model?

See if Factory Resetting the doorbell helps…

Unable to set up doorbell keeps directing me to set whether has a chime or not chat wants me to uninstall app I don’t want to lose data as some systems are 300 kms away can’t reinstall manually

What happens if you choose chime or no chime, does it take you back to the same prompt again?

It doesn’t allow you to skip that part??

is there a way to reduce or disable the audio noise reduction of the doorbell? all I can hear is muffled digital mumblings and would rather hear the full range of the microphone, with background noise and everything
